I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Before that, I held a tenure-track position at the Institute of Technology at the University of Washington Tacoma. Before joining UW Tacoma, I was a postdoctoral fellow at DIMACS at Rutgers University.
I have received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2011. Earlier, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2007 with the M.S. degree in Computer Science (CSE@UTA). I have received my undergraduate B.Tech degree (2004) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Calcutta, India.
I typically teach database management, data analytics, and Algorithm courses – such as, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Database Management, and Algorithm.
