Computing Knowledge Evaluation

In order to provide international students with the best possible advice on what courses to enroll in as they embark on their MS in Computer Science, we require students to take a test that evaluates their computing knowledge. This test is used only for advisement purposes to ensure the success of students in our MS program. For details.

Students with a weak performance in the Computer Knowledge Evaluation test may be advised to enroll in bridge courses. These courses are not required. Alternatively, students may  become proficient on their own via self study.

Note that students pursuing the self-study option will acknowledge this option by signing a declaration that they will acquire the needed knowledge by studying on their own.

Online

The MSCS degree can be completed online.   Students may take any combination of face-to-face and on-line courses or entirely online.  Read more about the online option.
